Spring Challenge Day 9- Steamed Greens

Steamed Greens

1 Bunch of dark leafy greens

spring or filtered water

 

Put 2 inches of water to a boil in to a medium/large pot. Place a bamboo steamer on the top of the pot with the greens inside. Cover and steam until bright green  about 3 to 5  minutes. Or follow the same instructions using a collapsable metal steamer placed inside the pot. Serve plain or with a sauce.

 

-So quick and easy. There is almost no excuse to not add these at every meal!
