Miso Soup With Red Radish

 

2 Cups filtered water

1-1 Inch peice of kombu, soaked and diced

1/2 onion, diced

6-8 Radish, sliced into thin rounds.Greens optional

2 Tsp white miso, dissolved into a little hot broth

 

In a small pot bring water, kombut and onion to a boil. Turn heat to low and let simmer for 3-5 Minutes. Add radish and greens. Simmer for another 3-5 minutes. Stir in miso and simmer for another 2 minutes. Serve.

 

-This miso is light and pretty and got “ooohs” from the kids who like radish.
